ABOUT US
The Choir is a friendly, dynamic vocal group based in Webheath, Redditch. As an independent, modern choir, we enjoy the freedom to perform anything from lively, powerful cover songs, to original music, written and arranged by our choir director. There are no rigid formulas - we are simply a group of passionate singers on a shared journey, moving audiences with the music we cover, create and perform.

We welcome new members from all backgrounds, of all abilities - every individual brings something authentic, and every voice is valued. Rather than auditions, our standards are set by commitment, enthusiasm, and a shared love of making music. Our mission is to help you unlock your potential through structured weekly rehearsals and dedication.

WHAT WE OFFER
ONE-OF-A-KIND MUSIC
We perform a mix of well-known contemporary pop hits and soulful, moving pieces that truly resonate with our audiences. All our arrangements are custom-written just for you by our choir director, Chris. We also sing original songs written by him. No other choir sounds like us!
PLENTY OF REHEARSALS
35+ rehearsals per year (September to July), often more for events. Each song is sung in harmonies, and you can decide which part suits you best. Chris will guide you if you're unsure. Learn at your own pace from printed lyrics or music scores - it's up to you! We support your learning, no matter what your experience.
EXCLUSIVE CHOIR APP
Resources are available online and on our exclusive app, so you can practise at home - each separate harmony part, as well as full song recordings, lyrics and scores.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Sing at prestigious events and concerts, and help support local and national charities through music. Participation in performances is always optional - you can choose whether or not to take part.
EXPRESS YOURSELF
When performing, members choose their own colourful outfits, giving us freedom to express ourselves while also standing out from the crowd.
Our Choir Coordinators regularly organise social activities, giving members the chance to connect, relax, and build lasting friendships outside of rehearsals.
