Every arrangement is written, produced and recorded by Chris, our founder and choir director, who knows every singer in the room. The music, the coaching, and the direction are genuinely personal, not mass-produced. This gives us our own style and sound, unmistakably ours.

THE PERSON BEHIND the choir
Chris Yates is the founder and Musical Director of The Choir. Having trained at the London College of Music and The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), he has built a career as a composer, conductor, pianist and musical director, working with performers from first-time singers to professional artists.
With a passion for exceptional music-making, Chris leads The Choir with a commitment to artistic excellence, creating extraordinary performances, original content and inspiring experiences for every member.
